Recommend a good Lord of the Rings fan fiction story that is considered a "schmoopy" story which was not recommended in the original challenges (see list behind the cut below). Any genre, slash or het, FP or RP -- but no R or NC-17 rated fics -- G or PG-rated .
Definition: Schmoop is, according to the folks at
theglossary, a story rife with overt romanticism -- flowers, chocolates, candles, cutesy pet names, and little to no plot. Sometimes spelled "shmoop." However, a plot is fine with us. We are looking for romance here folks!!! Schmoopy stories that contain no explicit sex -- stories with sweet glances and shy touches, handholding and hugging, tender kisses, and UST out the wazoo. Post your recommendation as a comment on THIS entry please. Oh yes, and it doesn't matter if the fic is now unavailable online -- tell us about it anyway. Perhaps someone may know where it is hiding these days!
