Rec Challenge - Pimp Your Own Fics!

Fanfic writers and reccers, does this ever happen to you? You see a new challenge here at lotr_fic_recs, you think of a fic of your own that you feel proud of and that fits the challenge perfectly. But alas, the community doesn't allow self-reccing. Over the next two weeks you keep checking back at the challenge post. Maybe there are recs for your friends' fics which you also like, and maybe there are recs for fics that you don't just don't care for. But your own fic has been forgotten, left out.

Friends, elanorgardner and I feel your pain.

That's why the challenge for the next two weeks is to rec a fic of your own that wasn't recced in a previous challenge when it totally should have been. The bit about being neglected in a previous challenge is important – we've added an extra line to the copy-and-paste template so that you can link to the challenge post where your fic got left out. It would be nice if you'd also write what challenge it was in the subject line of your comment (e.g. "Portrayal of Pippin") for easy browsing. You can find older challenge posts categorized by character, pairing, and theme through the community tags list. (If you're using a challenge that's been run multiple times, such as Frodo/Sam or Monaboyd, please link to the most recent one.)

Make your self-rec in a comment to this post using the following template:

Previous challenge theme and URL:

Title of fic:
Author name:
URL link to story:
Pairing/Main characters:
Complete or WIP:
Summary/Reason for reccing:

Just one rec per person on this round, please, but we hope a lot of you will join in. Come on, don't be shy. The mods will be playing too. :)
