Fic Recs Red Book - Results

Our latest challenge in the Lord of the Rings Fan Fiction Recommendations Live Journal Community, otherwise known as lotr_fic_recs is complete. The challenge was to recommend a good Real Person Slash story that is focused on the pairing of Dominic Monaghan/Elijah Wood-- any rating, any time period -- which was not recommended in the previous challenges.

Some great stories have been shared. Feel free to add your own until the next challenge goes up tonight!

You will notice our sidebar has changed. Now, as we do these new "all inclusive posts", we will remove the old links to the original challenges from the list and include the new "all inclusive" link on our sidebar with the name of the challenge.

The results for the challenge are found here.

Thanks for your hard work.
Fic Recs - Scary

Well, it is certainly the proper season for this challenge!

Recommend a good Lord of the Rings story that is scary or creepy or just perfect for reading on a crisp October night -- in the dark, with the wind whistling in the chimney, and the dogs howling in the garden --which was not recommended in the original challenge. Any genre, any rating. (see list behind the cut below). Post your recommendation as a comment on THIS entry please. Oh yes, and it doesn't matter if the fic is now unavailable online -- tell us about it anyway. Perhaps someone may know where it is hiding these days!

Links to all previous responses to this challenge are below the cut. They are links to the recommendation, with the name of the story recommended and the name of the individual recommending it as the link, and any information about corrections to the URL included.
