All Hallow's Eve approaches. I think it is time we dug around for some MORE good scary fics. Recommend a good Lord of the Rings story that is scary or creepy or just perfect for reading on a crisp October night -- in the dark, with the wind whistling in the chimney, and the dogs howling in the garden --which was not recommended in the original challenge. Any genre, any rating. (See the original list behind the cut below.) BOO!!!!
